Spring 2025 - Eureka!
Children's Mental Health Week
This week, we celebrated Children's Mental Health Week with a range of fantastic activities, including yoga, Greek food tasting, cooking, and Forest School.
Forest School with Rainbows
We were fortunate to spend a fun-filled afternoon in Forest School with Mrs. Edwards and the Rainbows. The children worked brilliantly together, embracing the outdoors as they built dens, painted, and cared for the younger children. It was a fantastic opportunity for teamwork, creativity, and connecting with nature!

Greek Cooking
During our food technology sessions, the children explored the flavours of Greece, sampling delicious dishes such as spanakopita, courgette fritters, ravani cake, olives, and vegan souvlaki. They also had the opportunity to prepare and cook moussaka, which they proudly took home to share with their families.
It’s been a wonderful week filled with learning, creativity, and well-being!

Eureka!
Welcome back to the Spring term and our exciting new theme, Eureka! We've had a fantastic start and are already immersed in learning about Ancient Greece. The class has begun exploring Greek myths and created stunning Medusa masks to decorate our shared area. We've also been enjoying our class book, Who Let the Gods Out!, which has inspired some incredible blackout poetry based on Chapter 3, featuring Virgo—a star constellation who falls to Earth.
