Learning for life in all its fullness

Welcome

Welcome to our school

Welcome to Bussage Church of England Primary School, near the historic Gloucestershire market town of Stroud. We are a one form entry Primary School with around 210 pupils and cater for children in and around the Parish of Bussage with Eastcombe aged 4-11. Our ethos and vision is to provide an exciting and stimulating education underpinned by Christian values. We look to instil in our children all the skills to become independent lifelong learners to prepare them well for their next stage of education.

New Parents say:

"I was nervous about the transition to primary school as my son had previously only been to nursery 2 days a week. However, he was so well supported by the staff at school that by his third week he was telling me how much he loved Rainbows and was keen to go every morning.

Since then he has continued to love going to school and has really grown in confidence. He comes home and tells us about what he’s been learning and asks to practice his phonics and maths. He particularly loves PEG time in Rainbows where children can follow their own interests, as well as the Forest School and PE lessons. Mrs Bennett and the support staff in Rainbows are wonderful and he is very fond of all of them, and we feel confident he is being well cared for each day.

The most important thing for me is that he is always happy to go to school and talks positively about his day there, and therefore I am so glad we chose Bussage."
