Year 5 has been having a fantastic time in their Music Tech lessons with The Music Works, generously funded by our amazing PTA! The students have been diving into GarageBand, exploring concepts like tempo, rhythm, and composition. It's been wonderful to see their creativity shine as they create their own music pieces and develop a deeper understanding of sound. Keep up the great work, Year 5!

Welcome to Year 5

Hello, everyone!

What an exciting start to the school year we've had in Year 5! It's hard to believe how quickly the summer has flown by, but we've all settled in beautifully. The children are not only back into their routines, but they're also bursting with enthusiasm for our thrilling theme: Jungle Fever!

We've been diving deep into the fascinating world of jungles, exploring the vibrant flora and fauna that call them home. To kick off our creative journey, we've taken inspiration from the marvellous artwork of Henri Rousseau. The children have embraced the vivid textures and patterns in his paintings, producing some fabulous pieces of art that truly capture the spirit of the jungle.

As we continue to explore the wonders of the jungle, I'm looking forward to what the rest of this term will bring. Stay tuned for more updates on our adventures in Year 5!
