Class 1 - Autumn 2026
Football skills
Class One have been doing an incredible job developing their football skills. They have learnt how to carefully dribble the ball, position both their body and the ball to defend from others, and improve the accuracy of their kicks. It has been wonderful to see their confidence, control and teamwork grow throughout our sessions.
Plant/Tree structure and rubbings
In Art and Science, we have been exploring the structure of plants and trees. The children demonstrated incredible creativity, creating a variety of plant and tree models within our provision and carefully labelling their features using key vocabulary. They also enjoyed making leaf and bark rubbings.
Year One Provision
In Class One, we have been exploring all areas of our provision. From learning about plants in our role play garden centre to developing our fine motor skills through a range of fun activities, there are lots of opportunities to extend and enrich our learning around the classroom.
Weather Walk
As part of our Big Question in Geography we are looking at what the weather is like in our local area. Today the children went on a weather walk to describe and draw signs of the weather.
