What a delicious day!
We truly had a taste of Greece last Friday afternoon when the children sampled the following range of Greek food: pomegranate seeds, taramasalata, hummus, olives, yoghurt and honey, feta cheese and moussaka in addition to tzatsiki, spanakopita (spinach and feta filo parcels) and freshly baked pitta bread which was delivered to us by the chef and owner of the restaurant, ‘Greek on the Docks’.
Have a look at the faces of the children as they tasted the items…..the olives and taramasalata proved to be less popular! Yoghurt and honey was the clear favourite!
